Dorothy Rabinowitz, WSJ — The Axelrod Test

Star Parker, Townhall — More From the Culture of Narcissism

Yeah, the Occupy Wall Street protests are a spontaneous uprising…that just happen to take place on private property owned by a company that just received taxpayer funding for a “green” energy project and employs Joe Biden‘s son‘s firm as lobbyists, and has Bloomberg‘s girlfriend on its board of directors. There are no coincidences in this administration.

Ace of Spades HQ — Curious: Management Company That Runs Zuccotti Park Recently Received $135 Million in Tax Money for Wind Farm

Where was the New York Times when Obama‘s 20-year pastor turned out to be an America-hating all-out racist? But they have time to report on Rick Perry‘s “racist” upbringing. The insinuations sprinkled liberally throughout this hit piece have to do with his childhood. The not-so-reverend Wright was an adult choice of The One. Surprised by the Times‘ double-standard? You shouldn‘t be.

Newsflash for U.K. doctors: there‘s a simple cure for gonorrhoea…keep it in your pants.

BBC — UK doctors advised gonorrhoea has turned drug resistant

In more news from across the pond, Britain‘s strict gun control laws appear to be making London streets safer. Right.

Funny…neither CNN nor the NY Times bothers to mention that both of the American economists who just jointly won the Nobel Prize are critical of Keynesian stimulus, and one in particular has been outspokenly critical of Obama‘s economic policies as detrimental in both the short and long terms.

CA Keeps Chipping Away at Parents

October 10th, 2011 No comments

In yet another outrageous but unsurprising attack on the family, the state of California will now allow 12-year-old girls to get the HPV vaccine without requiring parental consent. The Left truly will not be satisfied until the state has removed all parental authority to itself.

In a deliciously ironic twist, another CA bill going into effect makes it illegal for teens under 18 to use tanning beds. So teenagers are responsible enough at 12 to make their own medical decisions, but not responsible enough until 18 to make their own medical decisions. The utter illogic of the Loony Left is only surprising until you realize yet again that it‘s not about the safety or health of the individual—it‘s about raw power, pure and simple.

Fran Tarkenton, WSJ — What if the NFL Played by Teachers’ Rules?

Walter E. Williams, Townhall — Social Security Disaster

I believe that a person who is 65 years old and has been forced into Social Security is owed something. But the question is, Who owes it to him? Congress has spent every penny of his Social Security “contribution.” Young workers have no obligation to be fleeced in order to make up for the dishonesty and dereliction of Congress. The tragedy is that most seniors just want their money and couldn’t care less about whom Congress takes it from.

I’m not sure I go quite as far as that last sentence, but based on what I see and hear from people whining about how they deserve a return on their SS “investment” (which has never been anything of the sort) he can’t be far off.
