Pearl Joy

September 7th, 2012 No comments

Read the story of Pearl Joy at Townhall and at her family’s blog.

Will she survive infancy? Will she have a “normal” life? I don’t know. The problem is…neither do her doctors, who are belatedly admitting that fact after initially advising her mother to abort her. It worries me when humans arrogate the knowledge and power of God, who alone knows this precious baby’s fate.

Gun Control Doesn’t Work in Chicago or France

September 7th, 2012 No comments

There were recent reports of gun-related murders in France and Chicago. Since their restrictive gun laws didn’t prevent these killings, maybe they should just make murder illegal. Oh, wait…

Good to see a liberal outlet fact checking the Dems for once, but it’ll be interesting to see if they’re as honest with Obama or continue to carry water for The One.

Gun Laws Don’t Work There, Either

A man in Quebec shot and killed an attendee at a political victory celebration.

Apparently he didn’t get the memo—it’s illegal to carry a handgun in Canada, not to mention using it to murder someone.

Hey, I have an idea for our northern neighbors: you just need more gun laws!

Truck Me

September 5th, 2012 No comments

Apparently Americans like trucks. Who knew?

Pickups drive U.S. auto sales in August

Americans aren’t buying what the Left is selling—tiny electric cars. I’m not surprised that the average vehicle in the U.S. is 11 years old. I have a car that age and a truck that’s 17. We’re finally replacing the truck (today!), but not with a glorified golf cart—with another truck. Americans don’t want toddler-sized cars with 30 mile ranges. We want real vehicles with the capacity to haul our families and gear around this beautiful, expansive country of ours.
